Bamboo Framing

I took another trip out to the island today to check on a few things and decided to stop in at Parcel 4 to see how things are going…

Back to the Villa. As you probably saw in my earlier post, the unique design of the roof is requiring that they frame it in Bamboo.

This may sound unusual at first, but we’ve learned that when the bamboo undergoes a certain treatment, it will last as long as any other lumber. This really expands design possibilities!
