Do I have to build a cabana?

Nope. You can build anything that you want, but you aren’t required to build. It is up to you.

Are house plans available for the cabana?

Are the cabanas already built?

Two cabanas are built. One is on Lot 16 and the other is an upgraded version on Lot 11. Contact us to come stay 2 nights for free.
Construction of the cabana (like the one on lot 16) takes around 60 days and will begin once your deposit becomes non-refundable.

What utilities are available at the cabana?

Water is available from the aqueduct in Bella Vista. The cost is $1 per month.

Power is available, with the purchase of a solar pannel.

Telephone is available via cell phone & a signal booster.

Internet is available via the cell service.

Is there any cell or wireless reception in the area?

Yes, with a signal booster.

What type of maintenance is required?

Cabanas are pretty low maintenance, which is why so many locals use them. The main maintenance comes from roof replacement that will need to be done every few years and can be done for a few hundred dollars.

How do I get to Playa Burica?

Playa Burica, situated on the Pacific Coast near the boarder of Costa Rica and Panama, is a 2 hour drive from David.
Daily flights to David are available from Panama City & San Jose, Costa Rica.

Where is the nearest place to shop?

Puerto Armuelles, which is a 45 minute drive, has several small grocery stores. David, which is a 2 hr drive has larger stores, such as Price Mart.

How do I get to Playa Burica?

Playa Burica, situated on the Pacific Coast near the boarder of Costa Rica and Panama, is a 2 hour drive from David.
