Development of this serene farm took close to 30 months to transform virgin rainforest into pristine/organic coffee farm. This farm is located in exclusive microclimate with Arabic coffee grown in partial shade. Extensive care was taken in protecting environment and preserving rare large timber trees. Front part of farm faces close to 500m of Gravel Road Frontage going from El Alto to Lajithas. Other end of farm borders with Rio Gallito where perineal water flows throughout the year. Access to electricity and aqueduct on the property. From the highest part of mountain, you can enjoy vistas of rolling green country and looming mountains. Coffee Estate has over 84,000 Coffee plants planted over 2017,2018 & 2019. The varieties of Coffee include Catimor, Venecia & Obata. Catimor was chosen in the initial years for majority of farm keeping in tune with local conditions. In recent years consulting with coffee producers in Costa Rica and MIDA started introducing Venecia & Obata where it yields better cup quality and high disease resistant varieties. Neem Plants were planted along the farm to prevent fungus and other insects as natural remedy. To sustain and infuse fruit odor into coffee plants Orange, Lemon and Banana plants were planted in the farm. As part of infrastructure development Internal roads were developed with in the farm. Caretaker home was built along with deposit to store farm equipment. Depending on the terrain stairs were built to provide access to difficult areas. Water management was designed/implemented in farm in case of drought which in El Alto is not required. But as preventive action this was implemented. Complete farm in fenced and regularly inspected for integrity. Current owners as part of future development for harvest categorically allotted space to construct quarters for fruit pickers and build infrastructure to process fruit. Also, at the highest point overseeing Santa Fe close to aqueduct to construct company bungalow space has been allotted.
