{"id":3057,"date":"2012-08-14T19:06:29","date_gmt":"2012-08-14T19:06:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vivatropical.com\/bocachicaisland\/?p=215"},"modified":"2012-08-14T19:06:29","modified_gmt":"2012-08-14T19:06:29","slug":"bamboo-framing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vivatropical.com\/bocachicaisland\/bamboo-framing\/","title":{"rendered":"Bamboo Framing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I took another trip out to the island today to check on a few things and decided to stop in at Parcel 4 to see how things are going&#8230;  <\/p>\n<p>This Villa is gonna be awesome!  <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Boca Chica Panama Bamboo Framing\" src=\"http:\/\/photos.bocachicaisland.com\/blog\/2011-08\/1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And, man was it ever a nice day!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" title=\"Boca Chica Island Panama Views from Parcel 4\" src=\"http:\/\/photos.bocachicaisland.com\/blog\/2011-08\/2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" \/><br \/>\n<em>Here&#8217;s an example of the lower elevation views to the West<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Back to the Villa.  As you probably saw in my earlier post, the unique design of the roof is requiring that they frame it in Bamboo.  <\/p>\n<p>This may sound unusual at first, but we&#8217;ve learned that when the bamboo undergoes a certain treatment, it will last as long as any other lumber.
