Just returned from a Nicaragua trip, Josh breaks down the investment and living potential for the northwest corner of this beautiful country. The area, called Chinindega, has mostly flown under the radar as a place to live for expats.

Josh talks about the region’s attractions, prices, building, and why he loves it. He also interviews Jannene Harker a New Zealander with the first planned development of the area. She discusses how she settled into this spot and why she decided to create her own project.

Find out why this place is sure to boom and why you should consider it before it’s too late and gets expensive.

Hey Josh, great podcast with Jannene and discussing the Azul concept. We reached out to you a month or so back and are looking harder now at the northern Nicaragua for a host of reasons. Based on your suggestion back then regarding price and affordability this new concept has grabbed our attention. We reached out to Jannene witha some questions. but wondering your thoughts on this new concept and its viability in such a new area. As we stated its just the 2 of us, pre retirement and we are looking to relocate, live and become part of the community and not replicate our lives in the states as that is a sure recipe for failure. We respect your opinion as someone who has been there a long time and understand the area and trends. Thanks in advance…Bill Spizzirri and Rachel Bolick McKinney, TX

These podcasts are so intriguing! In particular, I find the whole concept of “stages” and the timing of entering a developing market: fascinating. It seems like you want to get in late enough that there is some infrastructure and amenities, but not so late that prices have already been marked-up and property lots subdivided. Thanks for a great episode!
